These paintings were inspired by my visit to the huge CMS experiment at CERN in 2013. It really was an extraordinary 20 minutes spent looking in awe at this huge machine, designed to indentify the tiniest of particles. As well as selecting a final set of 12 finished paintings (representing the Standard Model), I was also pleased with these other originals.
